Anya Taylor-Joy
Anya Taylor-Joy grew up on the 16th of April, 1996 in Miami Florida. Half English and a quarter Spanish she is the daughter of Dennis Alan Taylor a former banker and Jennifer Marina Joy a psychologist. His father, an Argentinan of Scottish as well as English heritage is her mother. Her mother is Spanish as well as English origin. There are five siblings, four from her father's prior marriage. They lived in Buenos Aires until she was six then relocated to the Victoria area of London. Taylor-Joy believes that moving into London was difficult and that she didn't learn English so that she could avoid returning to Argentina. Hill House was the new school she had to attend when she switched from Northlands. Then she enrolled in Queen's Gate School, where she took dance classes and appeared in shows. She left high school when she was 16 in order in order to concentrate on her acting profession. Taylor-Joy knew from the beginning that she wanted to work as an actress. Her dream was granted a chance to try it by Sarah Doukas founder of Storm Management She offered her an opportunity as a model.
