Andrea Elson

Andrea Hope Elson is an American former actress. Elson started in acting as a young actor/model and later as a an actress professionally, is famous for her portrayal in the role of Alice Tyler as seen on CBS's science-fiction drama series. Andrea tried out for the part as Lynn Tanner of the ALF popular show (1986). After a long time of work on shows that were a hit, she left the industry to spend time with her children. Andrea Elson, Andrea Elson who played Lynn Tanner the teenaged child of Kate and Willie who appeared on ALF in a time which was especially challenging for Andrea Elson. In a 2000 retrospective in People Elson said developing as an actress of her age in front of an audience that viewed sitcoms was a challenge. The green-eyed New York City actress was born on March 6, 1970. Her father worked in advertising and she grew up travelling because of it. Andrea had lived in New York, Chicago San Diego, as well as Los Angeles before she turned ten. Andrea found an agent located in San Diego and won her audition for the first role. Fusco was in favor of the idea declaring, "ALF can drink beer since he's older than 285." In the years when ALF became more popular, NBC said that Fusco was no longer allowed to have ALF drinking alcohol with the kids. This was not a good image of a role for a role model. Fusco was of the opinion that ALF was able to drink alcohol as an adult. In 1995 Fusco was diagnosed lymphoma. This was successfully managed and the condition was stable through the year 2019. The cancer died on June 26, 2019 aged 75 at the Lillian Booth Actors Home in Englewood New Jersey.
