Camila Cabello

Allison Chinchar is a meteorologist for CNN as well as HLN. She often appears for CNN's HLN Weekend Express and CNN International's HLN New Day Weekend. Prior to joining CNN in June 2015she worked for various local radio stations, among them those located in Atlanta and Nashville. She's covered hurricanes, floods, wildfires as well as the occurrence of blizzards. In the year 2019 she was nominated for the Emmy award for covering Hurricane Dorian which was a hurricane in the Bahamas. The coverage she provided of the Super Tornado Outbreak of April 2011, when more than 350 tornadoes were reported in the Southeastern United States over a time period of four days, 200 tornadoes occurring on April 27th, was nominated as well in the Emmy Awards. Because of her training in environmental science she has also reported on volcanoes, earthquakes, and other natural disasters and the stories of climate change. Chinchar has a bachelor's degree in Atmospheric Science, which she received from The Ohio State University. She is also a member of the American Meteorological Society and Canadian Meteorological and Oceanographic Society.
